We are a private French-speaking school in Nairobi Kenya! A qualified and
experienced teacher, with a double training, early childhood diploma (National vocation
qualification in childcare, England) and Montessori diploma, is embarking on the adventure
of offering a French language immersion program in a multicultural context.
The indoor and outdoor environment caters
for the children well-being and safety. Our team will always welcome the children with
enthusiasm, kindness and engage them in a hand on learning setting which is both fulfilling
and reassuring.
We aim to encourage excellence in all aspect of French program learning, build confidence
in our students, and uphold important human values throughout their learning experience.
We have forged a collaboration with a certified French educational institution to offer
distance learning resources. Alongside the academic curriculum, we offer opportunities for
intellectual and emotional growth through arts, sports, and music, fostering creativity and
independence exclusively in French.
‘A petits pas’ can accommodate up to 8 children creating an ideal, cocooning atmosphere and fostering a close relationship between the staff and the children.
‘A petits pas’ facilitates collective advancement. The children will occasionally be in a mixed age group, thereby, promoting indirect learning among them.
‘A petits pas’ being a small structure, facilitates learning activities in small groups, thereby, enhancing personalized support for the young children within this new socialization frame work.
The most important goal of our Early Childhood curriculum is to help children to become enthusiastic learners while discovering different cultures.
An educational approach based on
playing, singing, practical activities such
as drawing, and social interaction as part
of the transition from home to school.
We offer a blended curriculum based on:
• Montessori Principles
• French National Education

The biggest gift Lebahut has given my children is confidence.
They are now brave enough to speak up in French, unafraid of making mistakes, of wrong
pronunciation, or
wrong conjugation. They are encouraged to try their best and are kindly corrected when
wrong.
They also do presentations in front of parents which is great for building confidence.
We love being a part of Lebahut!
We enrolled our kids at Lebahut when their learning was disrupted by the COVID 19
pandemic.
Since then they have tremendously excelled in their learning in academics.
They are well articulated and confident in the French language.
The teachers in the center build and inspire a culture of confidence in the children and
the physical setup allows
the kids enjoy being at the center.
Ms Arriette and staff have integrated our children into Lebahut Africa
extremely well. Our children’s formal education has always been in French since the age
of 18 months, and it has been inspiring to see how much progress they have made in this
holistic environment with smaller class sizes, and a more tailored approach to each
child.
Our children have benefitted from a rigorous academic programme, with solid duty of
care. They have made good friends and are very happy at Lebahut.
Thank you Ms Arriette and team!
